Research

My research interests are in the area of Complex Networks, Agent-based modeling, System Modeling and Machine Learning. I’m particularly interested in creating new models that abstract and specialize complex systems with the purpose of understand the behavior in respect to the detail level with which networks are analyzed.

Moreover,  I’m working on studying new instincts that govern the dynamics of complex systems, with particular emphasis on social networks. I investigate on the true hidden rules behind the links creation between elementary units that form networks.

Finally, I’m applying machine learning concepts and algorithms in order to study the language of messages in Twitter and how this evolves over time.

I collaborate with Massimo Marchiori, associate professor at Pure and Applied Mathematics Department, University of Padua, and research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (W3C).
